Network storage
Plays content located in remote folders on a network drive, shared Windows folder, or Samba server.

Select all - selects all items in the current folder.

Unselect all - unselects all items in the current folder.
- Show - selects which file types are shown.
- All - all files are shown.
- Images - only images are shown.
- Videos - only videos are shown.

Sort - sorts the files either A-to-Z or Z-to-A.

- indicates an image file.

- indicates a video file.
-
- indicates the format is not supported.
When selecting a supported file type, a preview of the file shows in the preview window. When selecting an unsupported file type, the preview window indicates why the file cannot be read. For example, with a video file, the frame rate may be too high, or the video may have been created using an unsupported video codec. Please see Supported file formats.
Connecting to the network location

Setup a network drive, shared Windows folder (see Setting up a Windows Share), or Samba server.

Go to Network storage.

Enter the Username and Password for the network URL.

Input the Network URL.
The URL will be something like this: smb://IPAddressOrComputerName/YourShareName

Select Connect.
Upon successful connection to the network location, the screen refreshes and shows the file list in the remote folder.
Playing content
Content plays in the file alphabetical order in the network location and repeats until stopped. Please see Network Storage in the Apps section for this application's setup and technical information.
To play only specific files in a folder:

Press the down arrow to navigate to the file list.

Highlight and press SET (IR remote control) or Enter (USB keyboard) on each file to include so that it has a checkmark next to the file name.

Highlight “Play selected” and then press SET (IR remote control) or Enter (USB keyboard).
To play the entire contents in a folder:
Highlight “Play all” and then press SET (IR remote control) or Enter (USB keyboard).
Note: with this option, the folder is being checked for changes every few minutes and the playing content updates accordingly.
