Browser Client
Allows you to manage multiple NEC MediaPlayers from a web browser remotely. To be able to access the NEC MediaPlayer from a web browser, you must first enable the Browser Client connection, which allows remote access to the NEC MediaPlayer. If there are multiple NEC MediaPlayer devices on your network, all NEC MediaPlayers with the connection enabled are available in the web browser for you to manage the devices.
To enable the browser client connection:
-
On the NEC MediaPlayer, select the world icon on the upper-right corner of the screen.
-
Next to [Network visibility or Browser Client and other NEC MediaPlayers] toggle the selection to [Enabled].
-
When the connection is enabled, it shows the IP address for the NEC MediaPlayer, which you can access via a web browser.
Connect to the media player via a web browser:
-
Open a web browser and go to the IP address shown in the NEC MediaPlayer's Browser Client connection.
-
The first time you connect to the NEC MediaPlayer you will need to add a username and password. Make note of these in the secure place, do not lose them.
-
After creating the user name and password, you will be prompted to enter the user name and password to login.
