Browser
Provides secure full-screen website browsing when using the monitor as a touch-screen kiosk on supported monitors, or show content from single web page on monitors without a touch-screen.
Launching the browser

Press the down arrow to highlight the input field.

Press SET (IR remote control) or Enter (USB keyboard) to show the soft-keyboard on-screen.

Input the default URL for the Browser app.
To prevent unauthorized website navigation, a list of approved domains can be added to the [Options].

Select [confirm] and then press SET (IR remote control) or Enter (USB keyboard) to hide the keyboard.

Navigate to [Play full-screen] and press SET (IR remote control) or Enter (USB keyboard) to launch the URL.

Web pages containing pop-ups, scripting, intensive video and animations may cause degraded performance or unexpected behavior.

The Browser app is for use to launch a specific web page while playing in a playlist. It cannot be used to browse the Internet using the IR remote control or a connected USB keyboard.
Browser options

Limit to these domains – defines the list of domains that can be accessed after the Browser is launched in Quick Play. Input the URL of the domain, then highlight the [Add] button, and then press SET (IR remote control) or Enter (USB keyboard) to add the domain to the list.

Auto reset to default URL – returns the Browser to the default URL after the specified time in the [Reset after]. The default URL is the URL specified when initially launching the Browser app in Quick Play.

Reset after – set the number of minutes before the Browser returns to the default URL after it last recognized input.
Note: these settings only apply to the Browser app when launched from within Quick Play and are only relevant when used as a kiosk with a touch-screen. The Browser can also be launched in a Playlist. The settings configured in this screen do not affect how the Browser behaves when running in Playlist mode.
