Posterized image when using LUT:

In certain cases the screen image may appear posterized temporarily while the LUTs are being updated, when using firmware up to, and including, version 1.017 on the following display models: P402, P462, V422, V462, V551, V651, X461S, X551S, X551UN. If the posterizing continues after the LUTs have finished being updated, reset the monitor power.

Analog Auto Bias/Gain Setup function on the Video tab in Display Settings:

This function does not work with firmware prior to, and including version 1.017 on the following display models: P402, P462, P552, V422, V462, V551, V651, X461S, X551S, X551UN. If it is necessary to use this function, it must be accessed from the Advanced OSD menu. Note that adjusting via the OSD is faster than via software.

Schedule Function with LCDxx20 or Mx0 series displays:

When using the Schedule function from the Display Settings dialog, it is not possible to set the Input setting to "Last Input" using the software. Either set the Input setting to a specific input, or use the IR Remote to set the setting on the OSD.

Schedule Function with X461UN and X461HB displays with firmware earlier than version 1.2.00:

When using the Schedule function from the Display Settings dialog, it is not possible to set the Picture Mode setting to "Last Input" using the software. Either set the Picture Mode setting to a specific mode, or use the IR Remote to set the setting on the OSD. The firmware version can be checked in the Display Settings dialog on the Status tab.

X-Rite/GretagMacbeth iOne Pro or iOne Monitor: If using the X-Rite/GretagMacbeth iOne Pro or iOne Monitor -

X-Rite iOneDisplay Pro:

This version includes support for the X-Rite iOneDisplay Pro color sensor.
The X-Rite ColorMunki Display device introduced in mid-2011 is not supported.
The NEC SpectraSensor Pro is based on the X-Rite iOneDisplay Pro sensor and is supported. Note that this sensor may not be supported by non-NEC software.

X-Rite ColorMunki:

If the X-Rite ColorMunki software is installed, it will prevent Wall Calibrator from accessing the device even if the main ColorMunki application is not currently running.

If you are using the ColorMunki software prior to version 1.1.0:

Wall Calibrator will detect if the ColorMunki software is running and give the option of closing it automatically.
To use the ColorMunki software again after Wall Calibrator has closed it, you must manually restart the colormunki service or restart your system.

If you are using the ColorMunki software version 1.1.0 or newer:

You must turn off the ColorMunki Service in System Preferences > "X-Rite Devices" to allow Wall Calibrator to access the device.
To use the ColorMunki software again you must turn the ColorMunki Service back on.

Supported Operating Systems

This version of Wall Calibrator requires Mac OS X version 10.5 or higher.

PowerPC based Macs are not supported. Only Intel based Macs are supported.

If using RS232 to connect the Mac to the displays, a USB to RS232 adapter can be used. Be sure to install the drivers for the adapter as native support is not included in Mac OS.
